The first effect in our string light series is also the most requested one for permanent installations: the static lighting effect – every bulb on the string holds a steady output, with no flashing, chasing or color movement.

This short video was shot on our workshop bench. It shows a run of our LED string light fittings with flame-tip filament bulbs, all lit at the same steady warm amber level from the first second to the last:

What you can see in the video

  • Flame-tip filament bulbs in clear glass, mounted on black cable with individual bulb holders.
  • A uniform warm amber tone across the whole run – no flicker between bulbs and no color drift over time.
  • The camera moves along the string so you can check both the close-up beam pattern and the overall effect of a full row.

Why buyers specify static mode first

For hospitality and architectural projects – café terraces, courtyards, garden pergolas, retail window displays – the string light is part of the furniture, not a seasonal decoration. In those installations the customer wants light that behaves like a fixed fixture: constant output, constant color, zero distraction. That is exactly what the static mode in this video delivers.

Dynamic and themed modes still matter for the same product family – they are selectable, not a different hardware build. If your project needs both a “background” mode for everyday use and festive modes for peak season, one string light program can cover both.

This video is one of a series taken from our overview post, Some String Light Lighting Effects Video, which groups the effects into static, dynamic and twinkling, seasonal and theme, and combination modes.
