Four videos showed what our string lights do. The fifth shows where they can run: in this clip the string is powered entirely from a 5V USB power bank, no wall socket involved.
The operator taps the power bank on camera, the string lights up, and a close-up shows the cable label – a standard 5V USB power lead connecting the string to the bank:
What you can see in the video
- The string light running on bulbs-and-black-cable hardware identical to the other videos in this series.
- The operator pressing the power bank’s button and the string responding immediately.
- A close-up of the 5V USB power cable, confirming the connection type your customers would use in the field.
(The power bank in the clip is a bench sample used for the demonstration, not an accessory we supply with the product.)
Why USB-powered operation widens the market
A string light that runs from any common USB power bank stops depending on the wall socket. That opens selling points no mains-only competitor can match:
- Market stalls and food stands – light the booth where the organizer did not plan a socket.
- Camping and outdoor leisure – evening light around the tent or awning from the same bank that charges the phone.
- Windows and pop-up displays – build the display without an electrician, hide the power source behind the props.
- Garden and balcony use – temporary setups for an evening, packed away in the morning.
For distributors, the same string light program therefore serves both the permanent-installation buyer (mains powered, static warm modes) and the portable-leisure buyer (USB powered, effect modes) – one product family, two shelf positions.
This video belongs to the series in Some String Light Lighting Effects Video. See the models under LED string lights, or contact us to discuss portable lighting programs.
